Matthew Clowney is an award-winning photographer with works in numerous collections both private and public, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia, and more.

Matthew received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI, where he currently teaches photography, and a BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Matthew was first assistant to Tina Barney for 8 years before going to graduate school. He's worked with a wide array of advertising, editorial and corporate clients, including CVS, Coke, Hewlett-Packard, Fuji Film, the Rhode Island School of Design, W Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Nasdaq, and many more. He loves traveling for work and for play, both of which always involve making photographs.
